During a recent lifting operation, we have used our mobile crane, Grove GMK 4075, for the purposes of installation of chimney components in a local plant in Libiąż. The total height of the chimney was 55 meters, and the weight of the top element was about 3 tons. Thanks to good planing and coordination, the whole lift was completed safely in less than four hours. Below you can see the photos from the lift.

Last week, our mobile crane, Grove GMK 4075, performed a series of lifts during the installation of a billboard at the grounds of the new market hall, CH Zaleze, in Katowice. The total height of the column was 32 meters, out of which the heaviest element had a weight of 8.5 tons. The night part of the operation consisted of installation of the column elements, as well as the main, top part with the lit-up billboard. Because the top part was preassembled on a nearby parking lot (about 70 meters away), it was necessary to move it across the lot, which was carried out with 2 separate lifts, before the final placement on the top of the column. It is yet another time, when our company was called to deliver complex lifting services, during the installation of a gantry crane. This time, the assembly took place in a production hall Mikołów. The gantry crane consisted of three major parts, out of which the heaviest weighted 8 tons. Our mobile crane, Liebherr LTM 1040, turned out to be an ideal choice for this task. Limited turning radius imposed by tight alleys of the production hall were no obstacle in getting to the assembly spot. The construction elements of the hall’s roof limited the maneuverability during the operation, but thanks to well-planned positioning, and perfect communication with the installation team, the entire operation was accomplished safely, quickly, and without any disruptions to the plan. Last month, we were involved in providing lifting services for the loading, transport, and unloading of two machines weighing 40 and 20 tons. In order to perform this task, we selected our mobile crane GROVE GMK 4075,. Thanks to a quick and coordinated operation, the entire time, including the loading in Łaziska Górne and unloading in Mikołów, took only several hours. Recently, we have been given a task of assembling and lifting a gantry crane in a new production plant in Tychy, Poland. For this task we selected our 20-ton mobile crane KRUPP KMK 2020,. Our crane services on site included assembling of the gantry crane elements, and positioning the whole structure on tracks, at a height of 6 meters. Limited space under the roof was the biggest challenge, but thanks to small boom tip of our crane, we were able to safely maneuver in little extra space provided by the skylight, which in turn allowed us to gain the required lifting height. One of our mobile cranes, LIEBHERR LTM 1070, performed a series of lifts for the company installing air conditioning units on top of a new building in the center of Katowice. In order to perform the task, the crane needed a fully extended, 42-meter boom configured with an 18-meter jib inclined at a 30 degree angle. This particular configuration allowed for an easy access to the places located at a further distance from the edge of the building – as you can see on the photos taken at the site.

We have completed our crane hire services at the construction site of the new Jaliellonian University campus in Krakow. Lifting tasks included assembling of the steel construction elements of a tunnel connecting two buildings, and positioning the preassembled structure at the height of 8 meters above the ground level. The total weight of the load added up to 20 tons. In order to perform the series of lifts we used our mobile crane KRUPP KMK 3050.

Last Thursday, two of our mobile cranes were called to assist in the transport of a 20-ton hydraulic press for company Sofir Poland. The first part of the task involved lifting and rotating the press to horizontal position, for transport purposes, at the old location in Ledziny. In the second stage the machine was unloaded and positioned at the new location in Oswiecim. Our 70-ton mobile crane, LIEBHERR LTM 1070, served as the main crane and the 50-ton KRUPP KMK 3050 assisted in rotating the press. For the past several months, our mobile crane, LIEBHERR LTM 1050, has been employed to provide complex lifting services at Warta Cement Plant in Trebaczów, Poland, where a project involving the transport of cement from old to new silos is under way. It is yet another time when we cooperate with MEGAMONT construction company, providing all range of lifting services for the project purposes. Since early April we have been providing lifting services at the construction site of new Castorama in Oświęcim. The main tasks included lifting steel beams and other elements of the construction assembly. For this job, we have used our mobile cranes: KRUPP KMK 3050 and BUMAR DS-254. The entire area of the new supermarket is going to cover 7000 square meters. Below, you can see several photos from the site.
